Day 12th 26th July, 2009: Closing up Documentary. |
I wake up early, Jackson will not have some time, and he is
going to church to meet us later. I
take some money for our guests to buy milk and bread for breakfast, I
arrive they are praying, all of them, thanking the almighty for what a
wonderful night it was, for such a wonderful hosts and for this unique
organization. That it prospers to rescue the many lost souls, who have no
chance in life, blessing blessing and blessing poured from their hearts.
Breakfast is made and served; the mothers have all this time
talking to me.
The virtue of a married life, working together, advises on
soldiering on. We take breakfast in turns, cups are fewer. Then we walk back to
Watamu Paradise, a heaven on earth, nice gardens, green, with pebbles on the
garden, house of my school mate and friend, married to an Italian, Tunda. She
has made Lisi and Enrico happy, with Enrico like at home! They all smoke except
Tunda! The day begins, today its faster and fewer students. Enrico has served
us with water, Lisi fixes the frame. Elizabeth has already advised to be
interviewed in camera since she is shy. There is a random selection and Tom
starts, he has a low voice and shy betraying his intelligence, arguably one of
the best boy in the country-, then Wanje, then the girls follow, in a few hours
before 12 we are done. Its parting and party time. Some leave immediately, some
go to see the beach, then by 12 everyone is gone home! Its over, its done,
great, everyone is happy!! Relieved that its accomplished, all works and wits
on Enrico and Lisi, just like when they are electing a new pope!!!
For the next days, Enrico and Lisi are indoors except for my
occasional droping by for the dinners at the Mapango restaurant, exclusive
Italian restaurant, nice Pizza! Am receiving my bosses at work and my time is
so squeezed, I miss all the bye! Bye byes! And the hugs, but thanks to Eddie
with his hospitality am sure no one will miss their plane! |
